March 31 Meeting-Program

Posted by Mary Bush on January 22, 2022 at 1:40 AM Comments comments (2)

All interested persons are invited to attend the March 31 Mid-Missouri Artists meeting and program in the Warrensburg Community Center MultiC beginning at 7 p.m.

The program titled “Inspiration!” will be presented by Janet Bonsall whose photography many in the area are familiar with.

Bonsall received a B.S. Degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and then earned a Masters and Doctorate in Technology Education. She and her husband Denny Humphrey moved to Warrensburg in 1981 where she taught Photography at UCM for 30 years and served as Coordinator for the Bachelor and Master’s Degree programs. Locally, her photography can be viewed at City Hall in her Four Pillars mural, Western Missouri Medical Center where her beautiful photographs are enjoyed by visitors, and in the UCM Union. Facebook friends have enjoyed her outstanding photographs of birds this winter.

Bonsall says “I will talk about my beginnings in photography, my “photo themes” and my pandemic bird photography project. And along the way, I hope to inspire the group to continue their own art.”

Face masks are suggested for this indoor event. All MMA programs are free and open to the public.
